The Wing Chun Concepts curriculum consists of three primary elements,
1) Structural Development Forms,
2) Reflex Development Drills, or Drills,
3) Tactical Development Drills,
There are also two supplementary elements
1)Weapon Training
2) Equipment Training.
All of the Wing Chun techniques are first learned from the Forms and Drills. These same Forms and Drills then provide a safe and effective way to practice and polish the skills. The most common curriculum framework includes three empty hand forms, one wooden dummy form and two weapons forms. The Drill progression generally moves from basic blocks and strikes to single-arm Chi Sau, full Chi Sau and Chi Gerk.
